Every package delivers a finished, printed magazine, not just design files. You review and approve proofs before anything goes to press. Printing and shipping are handled for you.

Production $20,000 / issue

You deliver: fully edited content.

Edit + Production $30,000 / issue

You deliver: raw content, drafts, and interviews.

Full Studio $50,000 / issue

Printing & shipping, fully handled. We manage the entire print run and mailing as part of your project, quoted per job based on copies, page count, and where it's going, typically from around $40,000 per 10,000 copies. Prefer your own printer? We'll coordinate the full run with them for a flat $3,900.

The details

What's included, end to end

Our job is to take content off your plate and hand you a magazine that's ready for readers. Depending on your package:

  • Content mapping & flat plan so you know exactly what's needed and where it goes.
  • Design & layout by the same designer who produces Meditation Magazine, built around your brand and structure.
  • Prepress: press-ready files, color, and bleeds, the technical work most people don't know they need until it's wrong.
  • Proofs & your approval, always, before anything prints.
  • Print & ship coordination, fully managed so you don't have to.
  • A best-effort proofreading pass. We run a careful editorial system over the text. We don't guarantee perfection, but we catch a great deal.
What we ask from you
  • Your sections and editorial direction.
  • Your brand colors, or let us recommend a palette.
  • Your content, at the level your package calls for: fully edited, raw, or just a concept.
  • A distribution drop-list before print, if we're shipping for you, so copies go straight from the press to their destinations instead of a warehouse.
  • Timely proof review so we can hold the schedule.

We'll set a clear content deadline together at the start. The schedule depends on content arriving on time.

Our printing partner

We recommend a printer we've used for over ten years. We screened and tested roughly twenty printers before settling on them, and they came out ahead on price, quality, and environmental practice.

  • Eco-friendly production.
  • Reliable, and genuinely good people to work with.

You're welcome to bring your own printer and we'll coordinate the full run for a flat $3,900. But this is our honest recommendation, and it's why logistics are handled for you when you use them.

How the schedule works

We meet weekly, a standing planning session that runs until your issue is sent to the printer. Between meetings we're moving the magazine forward: mapping content, designing, laying out, and preparing for press.

The biggest factor in staying on schedule is content arriving on time and proofs being reviewed promptly. We define the page count and revision rounds at the start so everyone's working to the same plan.

Who we work with

We're selective. We take on magazine brands we believe are making the world a better place, and we reserve the right to decline work that isn't a fit. If your mission is one we're proud to help carry, we'd love to talk.
